LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former president Asif Ali Zardari expressed confidence on Thursday that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would emerge victorious in the Feb 8 elections with the support of the Pakistani people.

During a meeting with a delegation of the Christian community, the PPP leader stated that party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's ten-point agenda would reshape the destiny of the country.

Zardari highlighted Lahore's significant historical role in establishing people's governance, and noted that individuals from minority communities had consistently supported democracy and unity.

The delegates discussed the PPP’s electoral campaign for Lahore’s NA-127 with the former president.

The delegation included Mrs Michael Cecil, Kashif Aslam, Samson Salamat, Naeem Gill, Bahram Francis, Peter Jacob, Peter Charles Sohtra, Jahangir Ghulam, Haroon Daniel, Sameera Shafiq, Yaser Talib, and Dr Ira.

Senators Anwar Lal Dean, Naveed Jeeva, Anthony Naveed, and others were also part of the delegation.
